Unit Classifications

In order to provide some consistency across properties we have come up with the following classifications of units:

Each of these is described below.

Classic

This is a unit that has not been upgraded or rehabbed since takeover. Generally these units have not been substantially updated since construction in the ’60s or 70s. Once these units are vacated, we should go in and do a complete rehab/upgrade of the property. In other words, do not re-lease a “Classic” unit.

Standard

This is our base-level “economy unit” that has no frills. These units rent at the base price for their floor plan.

Upgraded

These units have been upgraded to various degrees including updated fixtures and/or appliances.

Deluxe

These units have updated fixtures, faucets, flooring and black appliances. See Deluxe Units for information on specific products.
